Il tableau è semplicemente un cartellone con la disposizione da far seguire agli invitati per disporsi a sedere ai tavoli durante il pranzo o la cena.

Sul tableau ogni tavolo sarà contrassegnato (così come in sala) e riporterà l’elenco degli invitati che ivi si dovranno sedere.

E’ un modo elegante per far sì che vicino agli sposi non sia seduto il capoufficio, invitato per educazione e non magari la migliore amica che essendosi attardata all’aperitivo ha trovato tutti i tavoli della sala già occupati.

Occorre riflettere bene sulla disposizione dei tavoli e cercare delle categorie il più possibili omogenee per distribuire gli invitati:

zii dello sposo;

zii della sposa;

cugini della sposa;

cugini dello sposo,

amici single della sposa vs amici in coppia della sposa;

amici single della sposo vs amici in coppia della sposo e così via.

Può essere utile per ottimizzare i costi, creare un tavolo dei bambini (molti ristoranti vi forniranno una baby sitter inclusa nel prezzo), con menù dedicato.

Occorre seguire alcune semplici regole in modo che i commensali non si trovino a disagio; ad esempio mai mettere allo stesso tavolo ex fidanzati rancorosi o parenti che hanno litigato furiosamente.
